Just about the time that you think nothing is different along comes new tech with old manners for making hay. Three years ago I bought my first Recon and it was my best investment of the year. Our hay prices started to take off and we were about 20% higher which add up quickly, actually about $6360 a year. Last year 2005, we put spinners on which meant no more tedding, less time, and less fuel. It just got better. It makes hay soft and pliable, dry down time decrease by around 35%, and helps spruce up old hay. Which in turn makes profit. Our Recon paid for itself the second year. It was easy to figure out. If you want better quality and better price don't waste your time , buy a Recon.
